Kiran lost his mother at 7, leaving him feeling purposeless for years. It wasn't until college that his life’s trajectory was changed forever, all through a small act of kindness – donating blood for the first time. He continued doing so every year on his birthday.

In 2016, when he donated blood to a poor family, he was shocked to learn that someone had charged them for it. This fueled an idea within him, and that’s how 'Simply Blood,' the world's first virtual blood donation platform came to life.

When the pandemic hit and blood banks went dry, Kiran decided to walk across the country and educate people about the importance of blood donation.

To secure his family's financial future, he pooled all his savings and invested them before embarking on his journey. In almost one year, he walked over 10,300 kilometers and visited over 140 districts, gathering more than 20,000 donors.

Kiran's message was simple: donate blood and save a life. He believes that the youth today are the country's future and must take the beacon ahead.

Kiran's journey won't stop until enough people donate blood to ensure no one in India dies due to lack of blood.
