Yesterday was my first time, went well.
Your previous videos helped to know what would go on.
There was a long line to donate.
Since being a new donor, I didn’t have to wait.
How long do you usually have to wait?
I asked when the best day or time was, but they said it’s always busy.
Just curious how long your average wait, is.
    Went to CSL, more money!

I’m glad my videos helped and that your first donation went well! Yeah it’s usually a pretty long wait for me, I would say about 45 minutes. It’s not too bad if you bring something to do while you wait.

Hey I got a question for you, I recently started donating plasma at a CSL location because they were offering over $1000 your first month but when I went in and signed up for everything they showed me that I will make $650 for my first month and I didnt question them about it. Do they just give you the extra once you finish your first month or am I just getting $650 after my first month

The $650 sounds like the normal monthly pay, not the $1000 for new donors. You should get the $1000 in your first 8 donations, so about $125 each donation. Next time you go in I would ask them about that to make sure you get the $1000 because based on my experience they don’t give you extra at a later time.

@Zach Johnson oh wow you respond fast and thanks I’ve already donated twice and the first two donations were $100 but then it drops to $50 for the next 3 I think then goes back to $100. I’ll ask them my next donation

Hi Zach I’ve been getting interested in donating plasma and have been binge watching your videos but have a few questions if you can answer them. (Thank you in advance ❣) So the nearest location and site is a Biolife center however it is about a 30 minute drive and wanted to know if Plasma donation centers compensate for commuting? My second question is are centers still paying donators a little extra if you have Covid antibodies or is that no longer the case? Anyway thank you for these incredibly informative videos they have helped me wanna donate and get a small side hustle going all for a good cause!

I’m glad my videos have been helpful! ? unfortunately, the only time I have heard of plasma centers compensating for travel is if you have really unique plasma like I talk about in my $52,000 a year video. I’m not sure if plasma centers are still doing COVID programs, so you would probably have to call ahead because it would depend on the center. It’s unfortunate that the closest center to you is 30 minutes away because with gas prices the way they are you are losing some value there. You would still make some money but I guess you have to determine if it’s worth it to you. Usually for your first month at least they will pay you pretty well. I think BioLife usually does like $1000 for your first month if you donate twice a week. Anyway I hope this helps!

I went to csl and all i brought was my license. They said they can now look up your social. When that saline came in, I was shivering real bad. I’m going to keep a coat in my car.

What do you mean by tainted? You can only donate plasma if your blood sample comes back normal, and then everyone pretty much gets paid the same. Pay differs based on where you live, and there are some programs that pay more if you have a negative blood type.
